How to outthink, outplan and outmaneuver the competition with a strategically successful positioning of your company. strat·e·gy

This Sound Like Your Organization? In most organizations the “vision” of the company resides in the head of the CEO and is never communicated properly to the management team. Thus, everyone is "pulling" in different directions. In many companies, management is so engrossed in the operational aspects of the business they don’t have time to “think strategically” and develop sound strategies for the company’s success. Most strategic planning systems can't produce lasting, long term results because the “key” elements of a properly instituted strategic thinking process have never been identified. We do consulting and training on Strategic Planning for many companies. Click here for further information. What is the Strategic Thinking Process? Strategic Thinking is the multifaceted and orderly process of
pinpointing the organization’s strategic profile (future “look and feel”)
upon which strategic plans (future) and operational plans (present) can be
based. It establishes the thought
process and the yardstick by which all major decisions are measured for
appropriateness and “fit”. How
is this done? This process first determines precisely what the organization’s core
elements are that dictate the direction of the company.
We facilitate this process with the entire management team to think
through the qualitative aspects of its business and the environment it faces.
We then help determine exactly what is the driving
force, which determines its products, customers, markets, and geographic
areas. An effective strategic plan cannot be accomplished without first
determining this strategic heartbeat of the organization. What
will Strategic Thinking do for us?
What
is Strategic Planning? Strategic Planning is devising plans which insure the future
well being of the company by developing strategies which will “protect or capture” the four basic
elements of its business, which are its: Products,
Customer Groups, Market Segments, and Geographic Markets. Strategic Planning is not
making extrapolations of historical numbers and making projections about them
for the future. Strategic Planning is not
setting goals and then devising ways to attain them. This is part of
operational planning. Unless you sell a product or service that has absolutely no competition, your business has to grow at the expense of a competitor. To take customers away from a competitor means you have
to be prepared to wage “business war,” and this requires a strategy. “Business survival, like warfare, is won by the side that has the best
offensive and defensive strategies.” How
is your Strategic Planning process different from others?
What
is Strategic Computerization? Insures your business will have access to all the information and technology it needs to...
"Organization’s information gathering abilities and how fast they can
adapt to change today will determine tomorrow's winners and losers.” How
Will These Three Strategies Affect Our Image, Marketing and Success?
